PARKING

The (camping) car park at INDIEPENDENCE is located adjacent to the festival site.

All INDIE car parks are located just off site within very short walking distance. Every effort including roadways, ground covering and drainage is taken to ensure that car parks are solid, however, since these are grass fields, in the event of excessively heavy rain, alternative car parking may be used. Please keep an eye on the website and social media for updates.

Parking is limited so for those of you just popping along for the day or staying for the weekend but off-site, please use the parking available around the town. As parking is limited and because we want to keep one eye on the poor penguins, there is a €10 charge per car for onsite parking. This is to encourage patrons to car pool and use public transport where possible please!

Directions

If approaching the car park from the Dublin side:

– Drive past the car park location and carry on to the roundabout at the Firgrove Hotel. It is not possible to enter the car park by crossing the main road so travel around the roundabout and back to the car park site.

If approaching the car park from the Mitchelstown side:

– From the roundabout at the Firgrove Hotel carry on past the festival entrance and the car park will be visible on your left.

Set Down & Drop Off

All drop off and collection will take place in the business park adjacent to INDIEPENDENCE on the Mitchelstown side. THERE IS NO DROP OFF IN THE MAIN CAR PARK. You must approach the drop off location from the Mitchelstown side as you will not be able to cross the line of traffic coming from the Dublin side. This huge additional journey will take you around 30 seconds to go to the roundabout and return.

When you leave the drop off area, YOU MUST TURN LEFT, you cannot cross the line of traffic to turn right, please proceed to the Kilbehenny roundabout for access to the M8 Motorway or to turn.

Day Ticket Parking

Day Ticket Parking will also be located within the main car park. A cost of €10 per car will apply. Please car pool or use public transport where possible.
